I've always been interested in photography, so in 2013 I finally purchased an adequate camera to capture all of the amazing things that I run across on my adventures. These are just a few images of what I've encountered since January of 2013. I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoyed taking them!
I graduated from Howard University with a Bachelors of Architecture. In school, I was able to quench my sense of adventure by playing rugby and studying abroad in both France and Australia. After graduating and working for 5 years, I decided that the 9 to 5 thing just wasn't for me. So I quit my job and bought a one way ticket to Singapore on a mission to travel around the world! 18 months and 15 countries later, I resolved to turn my passion for travel and volunteering into a new career. I then joined Doctors Without Borders as a Logistics and Construction Manager to help those in need around the world.
My most recent travel goal was to visit one quarter (49) of the world's independent countries. So far I've been to 51, some multiple times. Here's my list: the US, Mexico (2 times), Canada, the Bahamas, Jamaica (2), Argentina, Chile (2), Uruguay, Bolivia, Peru, France (7), the UK (England (2) & Scotland), Ireland (2), Switzerland (2), Luxembourg, Spain, Greece, Italy, the Vatican, Australia (2), New Zealand (4), Samoa, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand (3), Laos (2), Cambodia, Vietnam, South Korea, Japan, Egypt, South Africa (4), Tanzania (2), Kenya (2), Uganda, Ethiopia, Liberia, Guinea, Cuba (2), Mozambique, Malawi, Botswana, Zambia, Namibia, Kyrgyzstan, Brazil, Germany, South Sudan, Austria, Belgium & the Netherlands. Bonuses include Zanzibar (2) and the Cook Islands, which are not independent countries.
I try to keep my page as up to date as my internet access allows. Please bear with me.
